Disconnect to Connect: How Stepping Away can Help You Reconnect with Yourself.

Let me start by start by asking you a question,  "Have you been feeling overwhelmed by all the information that is out there?"  Well I was and it was hard to make sense of what was right for me, who was the expert I should listen too?  Eventually, all of it ran together and sounded the same....... maybe you can relate.

So I disconnected, unsubscribed and tuned out almost everyone.  I needed to turn off all the "noise pollution" that I was being constantly bombarded with from every direction.  My email inbox was so out of control that I ended up creating new email addresses all because I didn't just want to delete everything.  I had a Fear Of Missing Out from information (I wonder if you can relate to this too), however I never read it and honestly I don't even miss what I have deleted.  You could say this took some balls or that I was brave to let it go, and maybe I do or it did, but honestly I felt relieved because it created space.  Space for me to connect to what and who was really important....... my own voice.

I have found that by disconnecting from all the noise in my life, I was able to really connect with myself, the inner wisdom that I already had but for so long I had been too scared to listen to it.  However, as the noise stopped, the voice inside myself grew stronger, louder and more confident.  I was able to fully tune into what I needed.  The truth is, when we are busy listening to other people, we have a hard time listening to our our voice. In fact, it becomes easy to discount who we are and what we have to say, or that we might actually already know what we need.  Now, I am not saying that there aren't inspiring people who motivate me to grow or I don't read or follow anyone on social media.  There are some, the difference is that now I ask questions, I inquire and explore how what they have to say resonates with me, now I trust myself and I am more selective in what and how I want to experience in my life.  I have been able to look at what I hear, see and learn and integrate it with my inner wisdom.  Basically, I use the stuff that works for me, and I dump the rest in the toilet and flush that shit down.....  If something makes me feel bad about myself, I remove it from my environment, which I have to tell you feels amazing and is empowering, because it reinforces the trust I have in myself.  In the past, I would try so hard to make it all work, but honestly, I am not those other people and somethings just aren't really for me even when I think they might be.

If any of this is resonating with you and/or you are feeling overwhelmed by all the "noise" in your life, it might be time to step back, and disconnect.  Once you disconnect from external noise and influences, you will be able to better tune into your inner self.  Right about now you might be asking "how do I do this?" or you may even be thinking this could be scary.  Well to be honest, taking this step can be scary but it doesn't have to be.  I have created a 7 day guide to help facilitate the process for any woman who wants to get more connected with her inner voice and I am sending it out to everyone on my email list, Sunday May 8, 2016 - Mother's Day.  It is my gift to all women because you don't need to be a mother to have impacted another person's life in a positive way.

So if you are not on my email list, NOW is the time to get on it, so you can be sure to secure your copy of these amazing guide - The Beautiful Knockout Way in 7 Days.

This guide will walk you through the process of tuning off the noise in order to live a more joyful and connected life. Inquiry, exploration and reflection are fundamental to hearing your inner wisdom.  The Beautiful Knockout Way in 7 Days is a workbook that you can print out and write in (which I often do in the margins of many of the books I read, so just in case you are like me, I made space for you).    Each day for 7 days, you will read a section and spend time doing the activity.  The Beautiful Knockout Way in 7 Days is intended to be done over the course of 7 days in order to give yourself time to process and synthesize what comes up for you each day, however this is your process and you get to decide what is the best way for you.

See, your voice is the key to living a more joyful and connected life.  You know what is best for you, even if you don't think you do.  Which is something I believed for years.  I didn't trust my own voice, I second guessed myself and needed constant reassurance from others who were "smarter and wiser" than me.  Now, I can tell you that this wasn't always in my best interest, because even though those people loved and cared about me, they weren't me, just like I am not you. Knowing what is best for someone else is pretty impossible.  So no matter what, listen to your inner wisdom.

If you are intrigued and want to get your FREE copy of The Beautiful Knockout Way in 7 Days, please just sign up for my email list.  And don't worry I am not selling anything at the end.  I just want to share something incredibly powerful with you.

Much Love and Support Always,
